Itchy sores

About 3 months ago i woke up to find what looked like 2 bites on my shins. I didn't think much about it until after 2 months they hadn't gone and in fact had got worse. They have now grown in size to about 3 inches across and contain a small amount of puss.
Now i have developed more sores on my hand and the back of one leg these have also started small but are starting to get bigger, has anybody any idea as i have never had anything like this before.
