Protected sex three times and worried

by threetimeprotected, May 06, 2008 10:44AM
Hi Doc,

Coming straight to the point, I had protected intercourse three times in my life time with people who's medical history is unknown to me, below is the description of the acts,

1) Had intercourse with a Sex Worker(India). She placed the condom on my penis, I started intercourse and finished in less than 15mts, I pulled out, she took the condom off and wiped my penis with a cloth and I left(No kissing or any other act involved). This happened 4-5 years ago.

2) Met a lady(African American) in mid 30's at a night club in North Carolina. We went home had a shower went onto bed and she sucked my bare penis for few seconds and requested for a condom, She then placed the condom and sucked, then I had vaginal intercourse for less than 15mts and couldn't ejaculate(Probably because I masturbate a lot). We stopped without finishing. Then I dropped her at her home. She said she had a teenage daughter. This happened 8-10 Months ago.

3) Had intercourse with a Sex Worker(India). We kissed each other on lips(Not deep kissing). She sucked my penis with Condom ON. Then I asked her to put another condom(Double Bag), inserted penis and had intercourse less than 15mts. I couldn't ejaculate. We stopped without finishing and I left. I went out and Masturbated with my cloths ON. She was in here mid 20's and said gets checked every 8-10 months

No breakage or slippage of condoms in all three cases.

Symptoms:

i) Had difficulty in swallowing week or two at the 3rd time(Things to be noted, It rained heavily for three days and I was at a Marriage met hundreds of people) So did not mind the difficulty in swallowing. It cleared in two days if I remember correctly.
ii) Came across something on the internet about HIV and fear and anxiety caught me and am scared for all the above three acts.

My worries:

a) I dint wash or clean myself the 2nd and 3rd time(I am uncircumsized). I had shower within 12hrs though.
b) I dint get tested till date.
c) Should I be tested?
d) How confidently can I take a test? I am scared by the very thought?

Please help me as I am committed to an honest and nice girl and cant imagine myself ruining our relationship because of my stupid acts. The very thought of getting tested scares me a lot.

If I am spared for these mistakes, Abstinence and Monogamous relationship is my path for the rest of my life.

Thanks for your help.

Those werent mistakes at all, you were responsible and protected yourself. You have nothing to worry about from any of those 3 encounters. You never were at risk. You never had unprotected vaginal or anal sex and oral sex even unproteced carries no risk.

It does not matter if you have sex three times or three hundred times. If you use condoms correctly and consistently (as you very wisely did), your risk is non-existent, regardless of number of sexual intercourses you had.

Relax and move on.

If you used condoms I say congratulations, thats very responsible of you.  Still today and even without the risk of HIV and everything out there, you would be surprised how many people dont practice safe sex.  You are not at risk so relax.  You wont catch it through kissing or through oral even if it was unprotected.  You are good to go.

You know a lot of times when you have sex with people you are exposed to a lot of foreign agents, not necessarily HIV that can give you flu like symptoms.  Symptoms dont matter, you used condoms when you had sex, you can not catch HIV if you use condoms properly and they dont break.

Thanks all for your replies. Do you guys think I need to take this issue to the Doctors in the other forum?

I am planning to get a Home Access Kit based test(FDA Approved) next week? I would get back to my life 100% when I have a negative result in hand. I Pray to God to help me with this situation.

Thanks again for your time and response.

No need to post this in the doctor forum, they are just going to tell you the same thing and take 15 dollars from you.

Get your negative result and forget about this whole HIV thing, and keep using rubbers in the future.

Hi Guys,

I mailed my Blood Sample to Home Access Lab today, They said that results would be ready by tomorrow 0730PM EST. I am now very tensed as to what the result would come out to be and this fear is not letting me concentrate on anything. I don't know what i should do the next 30 hours to cope up with this situation. I am SCARED!!!!

Go get wasted at the bar, thats what I would do, lol. Your results will be negative anyway, you didnt have a risk, chill out man.

Most people that are experts in this field will tell you that if you use condoms properly you will have a happy healthy sex life.  You used condoms properly, why would you be exposed to this disease, and if the condom would of broken you would of known, you will test negative, relax go get a beer or something.

PROTECTED:  to cover or shield from exposure, injury, or destruction : GUARD

dont ever wear two condoms at the same time again...the friction can cause a rupture.  you were never at risk for hiv...move on...this is a non risk situation!!!!!
