Pre-natal aquatics?

by praying hard, May 06, 2008 12:19PM
Hi!  Does anyone do prenatal aquatics by chance?  I'm about to start doing it twice a week to get in a little more exercise.  I've heard it helps with joint and muscle pain and I'm hoping the extra exercise will help bring down my blood sugar (I have gestational diabetes).  I'm 30 weeks and I've gained 20 lbs...I'm hoping that doing aquatics will help me regulate my weight and blood sugar since I'm already at risk of having a big baby due to my diabetes.

Please share your experiences!!
