Chest gurlging

by cyfer, May 06, 2008 01:59PM
I am 30 and have been experiencing what feels like lower chest gurgling for about two weeks. I have some shortness of breath. It makes me very uncomfortable. If anyone knows anything about this please let me know..

It is more likely that the "gurgling" is originating in your intestinal tract, rather than your lungs.  However, considering your shortness of breath and especially if you have a productive cough, the latter is possible.

Regardless of the cause of the "gurgling", it cannot be ignored.  You must see your doctor and have a plain chest x-ray performed.  This may well provide the answer, but if it does not, additional testing may be required.

Good luck.
