neck numbness and nausea

For years I have been experiencing neck numbness and nausea when I wear a heavy neclace or a halter top or dress. It makes the back of my neck go numb and makes me sick to my stomache. It is a very uncomfortable feeling. Has anyone ever experienced this? One other thing - the hair at the base of my scull doesn't grow like the rest of my hair. I'm not sure if that is related.
