Ruptured ovarian cyst?? Free Fluid? help

by jma0614, May 06, 2008 03:58PM
I am a little stressed...some history: In December i had 2 polyps removed..came back benign had a 6cm cyst in rt ovary; In March back ache, pain in ovaries, not falling over pain, but more achy....went to dr...ultrasound showed cyst gone but now 6cm free fluid around rt ovary..DX- ovarian cyst rupture. I repeated ultrasound 3 weeks later...fluid down from 6-4 cm. no cysts. Another ultrasound done 6 weeks later...fluid still there but now 3cm. Also, now a 1.6 cm cyst on rt ovary. Now to the last two days...HORRIBLE pain in ovary area...sharp shooting pains...radiating from the rt side to my left. Have had two horrible bouts of pain that lasted about 1/2 hr each....now exhausted, not excruciating pain, but achy in my ovary area...slightly nauseous. I went to dr. this am. Ultrasound no longer shows cyst that was there last week, but free fluid around that ovary up from about 3.2 to 5.6. Again DX diagnosed...Ovarian Cyst rupture due to cyst being gone, and more free fluid.....I also had a CT done in March....showed nothing else besides free fluid....Had an internal today also....everything felt normal, etc....
