hello Doctor,

high lights:

22 yr old male, very athletic, always was very healthy never sick

oct 26, 07 one time unprotected sex vaginal and oral with a female.

3 weeks later woke up with red spots under meatus on the glans penis. not blisters(neg herpes test)
Cheif Demo. said it was  contact dermatitis

week after spots happened got sick: white spots on tonsils, sore throat, mild fever off and on, pinkeye in one eye later went to both, diarrah for two days thought becasue anxiety.later on went to pain after and during ejaculation.
No fatigue, Doc did not check for strep but said it was a sinus infection.

sore throat lasted 5 months, everything else went away with all the various antibotics I was on(alot of them) .

wks past from last sexual expouser(oct 26)
7 weeks NEG Gon, Chlam, Trich and rapid HIV

9 wks Neg HIV

10 wks Neg HIV vein pucture with WB conformation
, NEG HEP B
Normal CBC

11 wks NEG(undetectable viral load HIV) Internal med doc says there is NO way its HIV related.
neg mono,strep

13- 29 weeks after have had 6 more HIV test in various forms from rapid test to vein puncture ALL NEGITIVE

local AIDS center turns me away and wont test me any more says there is no need, same with my college clinic and HIV speacialist. they say 6 months is 100% clear, along with both HIV docs on this site who say 3 months is clear they say im crazy and that it is absurd to even be thinking this is HIV? also HIV speacialist from THE BODY.com
he says as far as HIV is concerened I can go ahead and try for a child with my wife

problems still:
lymph nodes pea sized on both sides of my neck one behind right ear and under arms. also glands under chin feel weird.

Not asking for a diagnosis I know thats impossiable . Only want suggestions on what I could look for?

Do you feel I should stop testing for HIV? some people I have heard say test out to 12 months, but almost all up to speed docs say NO way only to 6 months along with CDC.

I agree that HIV would be extremely unlikely.

Infection can certainly be possible given the enlarged lymph nodes.  Obtaining the appropriate blood and urethral cultures can be done.  If the prostate is suspected, you can obtain a prostatic massage and culture the fluid.

If the lymph nodes continue in the absence of infection, a biopsy can be considered for a more definitive diagnosis of the nodes.

These options can be discussed with your personal physician.

I am not of the medical profession. I just wanted to comment because it seems like you're pretty scared.  After reading your post, it sounds like the doctors think that it is very unlikely that you have HIV>  Obviously, you're freaking out and this is causing you great anxiety.  That doesn't mean you're crazy.  To me it sounds like the sex only caused the contact dermatitis.  After that, the sore throat and everything else (swollen glands) is completely separate of the sex.  I would say that it's a good sign that the HIV/Aids Center are turning you away.

Chlamydia:

" Complications among men are rare. Infection sometimes spreads to the epididymis (the tube that carries sperm from the testis), causing pain, fever, and, rarely, sterility.

Rarely, genital chlamydial infection can cause arthritis that can be accompanied by skin lesions and inflammation of the eye and urethra (Reiter's syndrome)."

see this website:
http://www.cdc.gov/std/Chlamydia/STDFact-Chlamydia.htm

i dunno why if you had that, you would have tested negative, but all the symptoms seem to point in this direction.  Google Reiter's Syndrome for more info.
