Pulmonary Fibrosis/Mitral Valve Prolapse

by momsheart, May 06, 2008 04:53PM
My mother has Pulmonary Fibrosis, COPD, Rheumatic Heart Disease, Atrial Fibrillation, and Mitral Valve Prolapse.  (to name a few!)  She is currently in the hospital and her lung and heart DO's have just suggested that her lungs would benefit from a Mitral Valve Replacement.  Without knowing all her info, does this sound feasible?

My Mother had idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.  My brother and myself both have COPD. I have no answers for you. But I pray you do find the answers you seek.
