lax injury

by Jessie4490, May 06, 2008 05:14PM
My friend was recently hit in the eye during a lacrosse game. the balls impact caused a blood clot behind her eye. The doctors say that the breaking down of the clot is causing alot of pressure to build up and say that if the pressure doesn't go down then they will have to do surgery. What would this surgery  entail and how long is the recovery, she is worried about missing her high school graduation.

She should be more worried about losing her eye. There are several types of surgery that might be done. One is to open the front of the eye and was out the blood.

Its not possible to predict how fast she will recover.
