"Bonded buildup" for crown

by eeziduzit, May 06, 2008 06:46PM
My dentist wants to charge me for a "bonded buildup", performed as part of a molar crown installation (no RCT). However, he did not build up the tooth before taking the impression, nor did he build up the tooth after removing the temp and before attaching the permanent. He claimed to have performed the "bonded buildup" by applying bonding material to the crown, separately from the tooth, before attaching it to the tooth. Is this possible?

Clarification of this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
