no semen/white blood cells

My husband and I have been unable to conceive for several months. I have an underactive thyroid which is not under control yet. My insulin is now at 13.  am on Glucophage and a thyroid medicine and there is talk of putting me on a medicine to help me ovulate because I have only had one cycle in the past 8 months. The doctor ordered a semem analysis the other day and the results stated that there were no semen but there was some whilte blood cells.  They suggested he go to a uroligist and then have the analysis done again.  What is the likeliness that we will be able to conceive? Also, is there anything that I should know about all of this?

I am sorry to hear the results from your husband. My husband had 3-analysis done with a uroloigist and nothing not even 1 and he is only 26. It was very depressing but after overcoming that obstacles we decided on Donar Sperm, The urologist wanted to put him threw extensive testing but he was exausted already and he didnt want the doc to say still dont have any.. I have PCOS and was put on Metformin 500mg a day and stopped taking just last month as I had my first IUI done on June 10 and didnt want to take meds. Unfortunatley didnt work, I had a Blood PG test and BFN :( Very disappointed and discouraging. Now I am on my 3rd round of Clomid 100mg and hoping to have another IUI this month.. We will see. Good Luck I know its frustrating especially your husband
