Pre-existing conditions

by jmarks, May 06, 2008 11:39PM
I have spina bifida occulta and a bulged disc at L4-5. My current employer's insurance will not cover this type of preexisting conditions for another year. What to do?

Dear jmarks,

It sounds like you are getting insurance coverage but not on your pre-existing conditions.
- If you have had continuous coverage, you need to provide your current Carrier with Certificate of Continuous Coverage & they will wave the 1 year waiting period.
- If you have not had coverage, then what you need to do depends on what you need! For instance, if you need help with medications, then you visit www.needymeds.com & get help through that & so on...

Sincerely,

Amir Mostafaie
