itchyness/sores/redness - i need help !!!!!!!!!

i am experiancing some itchyness in my vaginal area. its uncomfortable and overwhelming sense of needing to scratch. also i have noticed some peeling of my skin in my vaginal area.... also i do have a "pimple" or "sore" or something that is surrounded with nothing but redness..... also when i do scratch my pimple/sore or what ever it is i get some pus/ discharge that comes out.... i am currently sexually active... i just need help and advice from women who are much more experianced in this field.......... a concerned yound woman

the pimple or sore you describe could be just a pimple, or it could be a wart or lesion of some sort. these are pretty classic signs and symptoms of an STD. you should consult with your doctor or local clinic to prevent further complications especially if you start to notice foul smelling or discolored vaginal discharge. until then- stop scratching! stay clean, and do not use a ******. there is no need to worry and it can probably be easily treated, but the sooner you get it checked out the better.
