There are always chances of getting a stroke if the patient already has a history of previous strokes.You have to be alert and monitor the blood pressure levels and be watchful regarding his activities.Loss of bladder control may be an effect of the previous stroke but you should consult a neurologist and rule out the possibility of a new one.
