Cramping after the transfer-IVF

by cacaudinha, May 07, 2008 10:28AM
Hi Dr. Kim,

I had my transfered using egg donor, just a embryo, April 30. Since last week I have had spotting and mild cramping. Acupuncture is my support for this treatment, I have had acupuncture treatment for almost 6 moths, I did a treatment the day of my transfer and after. I am still doing for support. My concern is that I have had a some cramps and brownish spotting. Do you think this is normal? This time I am having so symptons comparing to my previous one (4).

Many thanks,

I suggest that you contact your IVF doctor to discuss your symptoms. I would be concerned that you are already having some bleeding and cramping. Your acupuncturist can do some points that help keep the embryos and not stimulate the uterus.
