Unknown condition?

by macbeck, May 07, 2008 01:59PM
I have an appointment to see a doctor on the 19th of May. I went last September and was diagnosed with General Anxiety Disorder/Depression and basically just stress, by a Nurse Practitioner.

I went in with a long list of what was wrong with me, and they are still wrong with me even after being prescribed Lexapro, which I've been taking since September. My anxiety has lessened, so it did help, but it didn't stop the other problems like she may have thought.

I have constant diarrhea, almost every single time I eat, usually right after I eat. I'm pretty sure I'm lactose intolerant, so I've switched to Soy milk, but I still eat cheese in small quantities, and it'll give me heartburn.

I am constantly dizzy. lightheaded, sick...
I have a headache every single day at about lunchtime. Every now and then it turns into a migraine that I can not sleep off anymore.

I'm constantly tired, fatigued, weak, unmotivated, exhausted... I sleep so much, I nap almost every day, I go to bed early, and can barely wake up for work at 7am. I sometimes wake up with a headache.

I know it sounds like depression, but I'm on medication which is working great, and I feel emotionally okay, I'm happy. But I feel like I am physically falling apart.

I find it interesting that you posted on the Celiac forum. do you suspect a problem with gluten? Many who do have this problem also have a problem with lactose. Their chemical make-up is similar. An easy way to see if you have a problem is to go off of all breads and wheat products and see if you feel any better. Just remember that gluten is in many products so read the labels.
