Left thigh, hip, groin pain

by stylerinc, May 07, 2008 05:43PM
I fell and landed awkwardly in the 'indian' sitting position about 6 months ago. I have extreme pain that migrates up and down my left thigh as well as my hip & groin. I have seen an orthopedist and had x-rays and MRI on my left leg and the doctors can not diagnose the problem, I have gone to physical therapy as well - they say it is probably just a muscle pull, but it has not healed and really hurts.  What other specialists should I see?  my back does not hurt but am worried that something may been wrong that we cannot pin point.

Hello Dear,
You can try some yoga and back extension exercises apart from the physical therapy. You can use some topical gel  and massage your leg.Sometimes these injuries take time to heal so do not get disappointed and hope for the best. You can consult a neurologist if the pain persists.
