Buise as a symptom

I fell about a week ago. Afew days ago, I noticed a 50 cent+ bruise on my breast. It is purple /pink in the middle, and I have several smaller green/purple bruises surrounding it. I fell face forward, and I have aches and pains all over.
What bothers me is that there is a lump under the bruise. Lymph nodes hurt on both sides. My whole body hurts from the fall.
Should I be concerned and see the OB/GYN? I just lost most of the sight in my left eye, and I am suffering trauma form that. I am not up to much.

I'm sorry to hear what happened. From what you have described, the lesions could really be bruises or "hematomas" resulting from the trauma to the breast tissue. These are usually blood collections underneath the skin or within the tissues of the breast itself. These can present with a hard lump that should soften and dissolve as the hematoma resolves as well. You can expect this to change color from green to yellow within the next few days. However, I suggest you have this looked at by a doctor, even not by an OB/GYN, to have your breasts properly examined. He may request tests like mammograms or ultrasound to ascertain the nature of that bruise, and to rule out other conditions.

Thanks so much for your careful reply. I need that mammogram anyway--it's time. But I do not need another big scare.
