I just wanted to ask if you had any brain scans done?
..and also to look into keloids. Perhaps the scar tissue is affecting your ears, because the ears are attached to the eustachian tubes which runs the length from the middle ear to the nasopharynx, which is located behind the nose. the pressure from the swelling is probably changing the pressure in your ears? maybe? forgive me if you have already looked into this, and found it an obvious observation. but i was just wondering.
come to think of it.. you mentioned steroids, so perhaps you've already been through this.
