Several of my colleagues were discussing (debating) the exact definition of a "core filling" of any material and/or  a "core"as part of a crown restoration.  Please give me your definition.   Thank you,   Robert Mann, DMD

a restorative procedure of lost coronal tooth structure after endodontic treatment, which may or may not involve post placement.
This is how  I feel ,maybe others can write a better definition.How about ada definition? I bet there must be one.
