living in High rise - trash shute

by cacus, May 08, 2008 04:36PM
I got a job and moved to different city .. I rented out apartment with an reduced offer and living for 4 1/2 months. The Apt. is beside trash shute. Initially it was alright. Then trash shute is becoming piled up and filthy some times.. and now I am concerned ...how bad is it to my health.. my apt. is just beside it.. and afraid of any health hazards...

Now I feel that may be the reason the apt. leising officers rented out for less price.... Generally do I need to be worried of renting apartments beside trash shutes if they are cleaned regularly ????

Hello,

What health hazards are you concerned about?

Other than the odors from the trash shute, have you experienced any symptoms that you attribute to the proximity of the shute to your apartment?
