suddenly wets her pants

by molldoll5, May 08, 2008 10:30PM
My daughter is 6 and has suddenly ben wetting her pants.  Once, while in the car without even realizing it and just last night.  Last she said her pants felt funny, she had peed them enough to really wet her underpants, but not through to the bed.  She also says that sometimes it hurts to pee like burn a little, but only at night.  I was thinking it was from the bath soap or not wiping herself good enough.  Are these symptoms of something medical, she is embarrased.  She does seem a little more cranky than usual, but not extreme.  I figured it was because she was tired.  Any thoughts?

sounds very much like a urinary tract infection, go to doc who can quickly test her urine and give you antibiotics if thats what it is, good luck
