Sore lump

by Kirsty22, May 09, 2008 03:43AM
I had a breast enlargement almost a year ago. The incisions were under my armpits. My scars have healed really well you can barley see them but recently i've noticed a small red lump in the middle of my scar. It feels as if it's under the skin and it's really sore. It seems to have worsened over the last couple of days but this might be because I keep prodding it. Is this normal?

This could be an infected cyst developing in an area of multiple glands or a reaction to a deep suture placed at the time of original surgery.  I would see your surgeon to make sure this does not develop into a full blown infection.
