Do you track your cycles to see if you are ov? I found out I wasn't by charting my bbt and tracking my temps. I never got the temp spike to indicate that I was ov. In fact, it remained pretty flat.
You may want to find a RE to discuss this with or even you OB. You should have your lining checked to make sure its not building up, which could inhibit you ttc. And also to see if you are ov. You may be ov every other cycle.
Thank you for your reply. But i did not understand whats mean by lining sheds. Few months ago i had done ovulation test (used clear blue tests) and it was showing that i was ovulating.
Yes i do track my cycle its now 42 days cycle and i ovulate 22-24 days of my cycle but not sure bcoz i had used ovulation test just one month.
Have you done your IUI is it painful ? i am very scared of doctors and my doctor has suggested for this said HSG (x-ray) will be done immediately after my periods but i have not got my periods yet. I am scared to do this x-ray also. can you pls tell me its not painful.
Thanks a lot
Sarah
That's great that you are ov! I would track that every month to make sure it keeps happening.
The IUI is not painful at all, atleast for me it wasn't. In fact, its like getting an annual exam, the speculum is inserted and that's all I felt. When the tubing was placed inside to inject the sperm, I didn't even know it happened. I just knew it was done b/c the doctor told me it was.
The HSG did give me some pain but it was very brief. I was advised to take Advil an hour before the procedure and afterwards as well. I did see on this site where a woman asked her doctor for valium before the HSG. That helped her but if you do that, make sure you have somewhere to drive you there and pick you up. I would talk to your doctor about pain control for the HSG. Some women, it doesn't bother them at all and for others, it can be painful.
Keep me updated!
Tara
