PLEASE HELP ME

by tammie68, May 09, 2008 11:15AM
I've been on zoloft 100mg for about 6 months.before that i was on celexa and wellbutrin.  i don't want to take that anymore, for one it didn't seem to make much difference and for two, i will be without insurance for a few months,so i cannot afford it. these withdrawls are killing me. i hear and feel a zapping sensation in my head. i have very vivid, mostly scary dreams. i stay so tired. i can't focus or think the way i should.i stagger around like i'm drunk.i can't get my words out. i just don't feel 'right'. how long will it take to get better? is there anything i can do to make it easier? please tell me what i need to do. i don't have the money to go see my doctor, plus, even if i did, he won't treat me for mental problems and i don't have a car to get to where the head doctors are.

I realize you did your post awhile ago - I hope you get this.  I feel so for your struggle!  How are you doing now?  What is Boarder Line Personality Disorder?

Have you slowly tapered off the Zoloft or quit cold turkey?  I haven't experienced it, but I have heard it can be really difficult when you quit all at once.  Even so it should be temporary - but your symptoms do sound normal.  I have known a few people who have quit cold turkey, one being my mom and she was so dizzy she could barely walk.

Internet is so valuable -Maybe you could get some doctors advice here or on some other web sites.  Don't give up on yourself, where there's a will there's away!  Medical Aid may be available to you, research it on the web.  Go to the library and become and expert on your disorder.  I wish I knew more about it and I hope you are feeling better, take care, Erin
