chemo elimination of tumor

by geraldo1, May 09, 2008 11:42AM
After a series of six chemo sessions an EDG was performed with biopsy of surrounding tissue of the lower esophagus.  There was no sign of the original 7 cm+ tumor and biopsies were negative.  Chemo was carboplastin and iranoteecan.

Is this unusual or; are tumors freqently eliminated?

About 50% of tumors can be successfully treated, so it is also possible in this case. What was the exact type of tumor?
