possible positive!!!

ok guys...i havent had much feedback in these forums over the weeks..but i think i might have some good news?today i tested again just because im too impatient to wait.heres the thing though...
   i work in a doctors office so the tests r at my fingertips.i took one but then forgot to go back to it cause we got busy and it had 2 lines.but i figured they were probably just evap lines so i figured drink up and try again.this time i took 2 tests just incase and waited it out in the bathroom.heres the thing though..one had a very faint line and the other had nothing!!!
      so now i was just truly confused.plus these r not early detection they r just standard tests.so i left work and went to the drugstore and bought an early digital just to see...well it says pregnant!!!but now i dont know how truthful i should find it because i have had a false negative with one of those before..any input ladies????i know i should go to the doc but to wait it out til mon is gonna kill me and to be able to tell my boyfriend on mothers day would be so wonderful!!!

I think you are pregnant! Your more likely to get a false negative than false positive! (or so I've heard) That is exciting! I would tell him that there is a good chance you are pregnant and that you are going to the doc the next day just to be sure! Have you guys been trying?

congrats, i would take another test on mothers day and show him the test, if its + then im sure its a sure thing

if it says pregnant then you are pregnant....congrats.....you can get false negatives alot but false positives are very few and far between

but i have had a false positive a few months back that is why i am a little weary bout it..but yes we have been trying only for a few weeks though which is why id be shocked but thrilled...

humm well get a blood test....anything over 8 they call a BFP.....I'm sure since you work in a Dr office it should be pretty easy....

well we dont draw blood but i made an appt wit my doc for mon so we shall see..thanx

False positives are extremely rare - even if you had one another time, it is unlikely you would have one again.  The chances that you had TWO false positives in one day is astronomical.   Congratulations!

- you should retest in the morning with the most sensitive test you can find (I like the ones that say "pregnant" or "not pregnant" because it takes the guess work out of whether the line is real).  If it is positive, there is no doubt you are pregnant.

Take one more test on Sunday first thing in the morning!!! Then it will be your definite mothers day gift!!! How amazing woudl that be?

thank you all and just to let u know i did retest this morning and got another positive..im besides myself!!!this is also my second if i have not mentioned that i have a 6yr old girl who now becomes my trouble..lol..not too sure shell be to happy bout it but we shall see...
