Early ultrasound. Was it too early?

by maybebaby29, May 09, 2008 03:13PM
Hello,

I went for my first ultrasound through the infertility clinic yesterday and they saw a sac and yolk but no fetal pole. I am going on my 6th week today. They're guessing it was too early. Is this true? I'm scheduled in 2 weeks (week 8) to see if the pole is there.

IWhile I had an IUI on April 10 (LMP March 29) and triggered on the 9th, the're guessing I ovulated on my own and thinking that things are just off on dates.

Hello,

You have been counseled properly.  I suggest you continue to follow up with the infertility clinic.

Best regards,

Dr. Downing
