sever sleep apnea

does anyone have sever sleep apnea..my sleep study was %66 lowest..after the 2nd study was % 93 with cpap..the lowest at 1 point %76 thats for a brief period..do you have problems with your mask leaking..the mask itself never bothered me so much...

My apnea is also severe, but my oxygen level never got as low as your 66%. Sure hope that brief 76% during your sleep study was at a lower pressure and that your levels are normal with your prescribed pressure. Those pressures are enough to make one be very compliant. Good luck with your treatment.

Hi, Jimgreg, how are you doing? There could have been some technical error in the first study, as minor leak would not have caused a gross difference. You need to re-check with your sleep doctor if you are going to use any device like a cpap for assisting your sleep as they can be bit modified to fit you comfortably so you do not see any leaks. Do update on your recheck. Take care.
