Lap Ban

I want to now if medicaid pays for the Lap Ban Surgery and wich Doctors i can use who take medicaid

Yes, Medi-cal (which is medicaid) is my secondary after medicare. They paid for the 20% medicare didn't.  
I had no trouble getting approved.

I forgot the second part of your question.  I had to call up the various surgeons in my area and ask them.  I ended up finding a surgeon two hours away to have my surgery.  Don't get dicouraged - keep looking.  You can also do online searches for who takes medicaid, look on ObesityHelp.com and other places you find on the web and ask for advice/referrals.  Where do you live?

Do you have to go through a years worth of b.s. first before public aid will let you have the surgery? The lap band surgery? My uncle had the gastric bypass done and he had to go through all kinds of **** for a year before public aid would allow him to have the surgery.
