Drowsiness when dealing with relationships

by Joshb113, May 09, 2008 05:39PM
As a person who has been rather independent for a fair amount of his life or who spends small amounts of time with lots of people rather than vice versa I have recently met this girl who I have been spending alot of time around.  When I'm with her for more than 30 minutes my mind starts feeling almost drowsy and lifeless and this also transfers over sometimes to a sexual sense.  I have always been sensitive to touch so when I touch her and vice versa not only is it a new feeling but it's also only so sexual compared to others who may experience it.  I am attracted to her although I have always questioned being bisexual or asexual but basically I'm wondering why I've been getting drowsy around her?  I take seroquel to go to bed at night which i know has a side effect of drowsiness but ive been taking it for so long and never had experienced that in the past.  What do you think this could be?  Also its not her or my personality because we both have a very full of life personalities regularly.

I don't know if this is relevant or not.  But could it be the tone/pitch of her voice?  Sometimes I can listen to someone's voice and it literally sends me to sleep.  I used to have a teacher that had the same effect on me, I simply couldn't take in anything in their lesson because I was trying hard to stay awake!  I haven't experienced the same type of thing in a relationship though.

It might just be that you feel safe and comfortable with her, that you feel safe enough to be asleep around her.
