Bulimic

I've been throwing up 1-5 times per day for about a year now. At first, I thought I was making a decision to purge, but when I "decided" to stop, I couldn't. I'm totally addicted to bulimia. I binge when I'm stressed, always with the intent to acheive emptiness once the binge is complete. I don't have enough money for treatment. Are there any resources that are free? I haven't told my mom that I do this, but it is starting to REALLY effect my body. I get migraines, stomach cramps, muscle knots, dizziness, fatigue, disorientation, numbness, sore jaw and loss of tooth enamel. I want more than anything to stop this. I want to live until I'm old. I want to have a family. I'm only sixteen and eating disorders have been a consistent part of my life for the past 5 years. I'm miserable. I accept my body as it is, but I can't stop purging. It is a horrible habit...more than a habit, a disorder and a sickness...what can I do?

You are right to get help now...it is dangerous to your health.  You must tell your parents that you need help, and then go to your doctor for a referral to a treatment center.  it is an absolute necessity...nothing else can help you without telling your mother....you need her help to get treatment.  You can find out more about emotional eating at my website, www.shrinkyourself.com, but that is not enough for you.
