Hi,

Have you seen a skin specialist for your symptoms? Has the diagnosis of 'impetigo' been given by your specialist?

What symptoms are you having?

If you pick at the site of the lesion - it can get secondarily infected and definitely increase the chances of the infection spreading - even to the brain in extreme cases.

It would be advisable to consult a skin specialist for your symptoms and a proper clinical examination.

Let us know if you need any other information and post us on how you are doing.

Regards.
