by OneNiceMan, May 10, 2008 07:15AM
hello, I want to start by saying that english is not my mothertounge, please forgive misspellings and similar.

during several years I have experienced pain and discomfort in the area between the penis root and my testicals, this problem usually only accur after ejaculation. it does'nt accur everytime but still  too often. I also feel discomfort after urinating and pooing (sorry I don't know any better word) It alsp seems like my body process liquids faster sometimes, resulting in many visits to the toilet. I'm 19 years old.
I have visited a urologist many times they say that it cannot be treated and that it's probably a prostate inflamation, I have gotten anti-inflamatory pills but they dont seem to make a real difference.

any help with my problem would be greatly appriciated.

Hi,
Have you had a urine examination to rule out any infection of the urinary tract?
Have you been treated with antibiotics for this condition?
How long have you been having this problem?
It is possible that you could be having a urinary tract infection, infectious prostatitis, or non-infectious prostatitis.

You need to visit your doctor and have an urinalysis done.
If positive, the infective organism will need to be treated with a course of antibiotics.

Even if there is no infection, an inflammation of the prostate can cause the symptoms you have described. In that case, the doctor can prescribe medicine specific to relieve prostate symptoms.

You can also do the following to help relieve your symptoms:
Drink at least 2000 ml water per day.
Start taking ascorbic acid 1000mg per day.
Limit sexual activity to 3-4 times a week.
Take tylenol for the pain every 4-6 hours, but do not continue it, without seeing a doctor, for more than 3 days.
Sit in a hot bath for 10-15 min per day; twice if possible.

Do keep us posted with your doubts and progress.
regards
