Red rash

by Harrison23, May 10, 2008 05:36PM
I have been with my girlfriend 2 years now.  We rarely wear a condom as she is on the pill and is not a fan of condoms.  The last time we had sex was Sunday (04/05).  On thursday night of that week i was having trouble sleeping because of an itch/pain just below the head of the penis below the foreskin.  The friday morning i woke up with a red rash and what seemed like 100s of red pinprick dots on one side where i sed i felt the itch.  Since then it doesn't seem to have got any worse exept for the fact it still itches alot and a very thin layer of skin seems to have come away slightly leaving a patch of new skin (like the remenance of a blister).  Can anybody give me an idea as to what this is and is it sexually transmitted (I personally dont think it is)?

So you had sex at the beginning of April, and now you have symptoms - a month later?  I don't think its an std - it doesn't sound like any I know of - and it could be an allergic reaction to something, or a fungal infection, etc.  You should check with your doc on Monday.
