Questions in the Urogynecology forum are answered by medical professionals affiliated with USF Health. Topics covered include overactive bladders, bladder pain, fallen/drooping bladder, bowel urgency, bowel prolapse, cystitis, incontinence, pain with intercourse, rectal prolapse, surgery, urinary urgency, and uterine prolapse.
Please go to your doctor and ask for a clear explantion as to why the urethra is so low and why everthing is so close to the anal opening. Do not discuss this with anyone until you have full explanations and someone to discuss this with. If a clear answer is not given then come back and ask for the next step to this question. Right now I will not state a hunch at all, but I do have a few ideas that may help depending on the route that you may wish to take. Have a good day and smile a bit!
