sensitivity before crowns are on

by arvadarlene, May 10, 2008 06:49PM
I have a few concerns.  I had my work done in Mexico because it was 340. for a crown verses 1200. here in ths states.  After my teeth were preped for the crowns and I went back to have the crowns put on.  The dentist rinsed my mouth out with cold water and I just about came out of the chair.  Whatever was left was so sensitive to cold I could hardly stand it.  Is this normal?  I am very concerned about this because now two of the crowns at the top have gaps between the gum and the crown and I am have infection problems.  Thank you  Arva

Seeing a competent restorative dentist is advised.
