New Here, Waiting For Diagnosis

by FoxersArtist, May 10, 2008 07:41PM
Hi there everyone.
I am now here and just looking for some support.  I have been working with multiple Drs. now for almost 5 years to try to come up with a diagnosis for all of my health issues.  I have been pregnant three times in the past 4 years and have had increasing symptoms since the pregnancies first began.  I am getting to a point where I am feeling discouraged and desperate for any answers as my symptoms just keep getting worse as days go by.  I have had more lab work than I could ever keep track of and have only ever come back positive for rhumatiod arthritis (but this was when I was a child) and recently with bloodwork that showed a very weak trace of muscle enzymes in my blood indicating myositis.  I have been diagnosed with inflammation in the nerves lining my spine and a recent colonoscopy showed irritated upper digestive system and inflammed upper and lover GI tract.  Lots of inflammation but nothing to connect everything to.  Furthermore I am hyper coagulant - clotting even while taking blood thinners and have a hystory of DVT which has left me with reduced blood flow in my left leg.  I have an MRI on Monday morning to test for Multiple Sclerosis and sadly, I am just hoping for any kind of diagnosis at this point, even if it means a hard life.

Here are some of my symptoms:

Raynaud's phenom.
Hyper coagulant without the presence of a clotting disorder
History of superficial clot while taking 30mg subcutaneous Lovenox 2XD
History of DVT in left leg, widespread from ankle to groin
Chronic swelling in left leg (from impaired flow due to scarring)
Chronic brief swelling of left arm - cause unknown
Recent swelling in all extremities
Recent pooling of blood in extremities, raised veins, pale purple to dark redish color, hot pink patches appear
Moderate to sever joint pain at elbows & knees
Cramping in arms and legs - feels like growing pains
Occasional lameness in hips, knees, ankles
Skin sensitivity - light touch gives creepy crawly sensation
Joint popping in elbows and knees
History of childhood rheumatoid arthritis
Chronic fatigue
Constantly feeling the presence of adrenaline in the system - foggy/shaky/light headed (an over-reaction occurs when given an adrenaline rush which includes fainting or hyperventilation)
History of sever (multiple) post partum hemorrhage
History of PTINR reaction to rotovirus while on Coumadin - PTINR spiked to 12.3
Hair loss
Intolerance to cold weather, air conditioning, drafts, etc.
History of endemetriosis
History of pre term labor & low birthweight babies
Bouts of constipation & diarrhea
Bloody mucous in stool
Intolerance to high protein foods resulting in diarrhea - red meat, eggs, beans, nuts
Muscle spasms in neck resulting in long term limited range of motion
Numbness and tingling of toes, fingertips, ears, nose, & tip of tongue
Reduced verbal motor function - usually resulting in a stutter or repeating a word twice in a sentence
Headache, dizziness, and occasionally fainting spells
Seeing bright gold colored spots in vision
History of anxiety
Heaviness with deep breath
Swollen sinuses/dry nose
Form scar tissue very easily
History of congenital cataracts, both eyes, both cataracts removed
shadowing in vision, especially with bright objects on dark background
Frequent sensations of "falling/sinking"
Diagnosed with Renauds Syndrome - 2008
mild to moderately low blood pressure

Looking forward to getting to know you all.  Thanks in advance for any support that is offered.
