Yes. Fibromyalgia can present with subcutaneous nodules that are exquisitely tender even with the lightest palpation. This can migrate to other areas once tenderness resolve in one area. These nodules can symmetrically involve either side of the body. I also have fibromyalgia and it is important that we get a restorative-form of sleep. This can be achieved by anti-depressant medications that can be taken before we sleep. I suggest you keep close follow up with your doctor so that changes can be monitored. Regards and God bless.
