Face red flaky rash

Hi, I wonder if someone could help me,

I have this red flaky rash, that is spreading across my face (by hand contact transfer)
It started out behind my ear, and now is on both eye lids.

I have managed to clear up the rash behind the ear with some aqueous cream and not touching it for a while.

However, the ones on the eye lids are becoming a pain to clear up.
Washing eyes out in the morning and maybe blinking must be irritating it further.

Is it safe to use aqueous cream near the eyes? or is there another medicine available?

The rash is:
slightly raised red skin patch, with cracked/flaky skin. It was more itchy behind the ear than on the eye lids.

i have added a photo of the rash on my eye lid.

Hi,

This could be an allergic reaction to some unknown substance or dermatitis. From the picture it seems most likely to be contact dermatitis

You need to wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products on your face and use a medicated sunscreen whenever you go out.

Apply calamine lotion at the site of the lesions and see if it helps. You could take some oral antihistamine medications and see if it helps with your symptoms.

It would be advisable to consult a skin specialist or pediatrician for your symptoms and a proper clinical examination.

Let us know if you need any other information and post us on how you are doing.

Regards.
