Really weird sickness...

by Isabel_H, May 11, 2008 06:00AM
Yeah this is off topic- but couldn't find a place to put this in :[
I'm a 14 year old girl, and the day before yesterday, during my science SATs test- I got the WORST stomach cramps ever. Oh- and really bad lower back pains. Now at first I just thought it was period pains- but please hear me out. I had to run out of the test- and I was practicually doubled over in pain. The school's medical room could not get hold of my parents- so I had to spend 3 hours in a stuffy room in absolute agony. Today, I got the same thing, just a lot worse. I was literally writhing in complete agony for about an hour; and pain killers didn't help. Then I was really violently sick several times. I also felt quite hot and clammy, but my temperature was low. Now- I feel ok again- which is weird if you ask me. I really don't want to go through that again... so do you have any ideas what it is or how to prevent it?

I think you could possibly have a blockage. I had the same kind of symptoms and when they finally took a Cat Scan they found I had a small mass in my small intestine. It wasn't completely blocking me off, food could still go through, but it was causing enough of a contriction that I would get the really bad, doubled over stomach pains. Come to find out it was fibrous scar tissue with ulceration. I did have to have surgery but now I feel great!
I'm not saying you have this because I'm not a doctor but it's certainly worth checking out and soon. Ask your mom to take you to the doctor and have some tests run. I wish you well. Please keep in touch and let us know how you are.

Ps. It could also be your gallbladder or even your kidneys or appendix. Please get this checked out before it becomes an emergency situation. God bless.
