Wisdom Tooth Pain

by Jram, May 11, 2008 04:31PM
I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed on 5/2/08.  The first day went well because i was still numb from the surgery.  On the second day, and continuing into the present, I am having an extreme constant pain in my bottom right socket.  I still have the stitches in place and cannot see if anything is wrong.  I have been flushing with the salt water and using the needle-less syringe to flush out food particles.  This pain is so extreme that using the syringe to flush out particles is excruciating.  I have been utilizing a hot water bottle constantly.  I have a follow up appointment on 5/12/08.

Any ideas?  I'm worried and sick of being wacky with painkillers all day.

Going back to your surgeon to have a follow-up exam asap is advised.
