a major annoyance for the face

hey, i have a simple question about a red mark ive had on my face for sometime. Around November, i started to develop this tiny little bump. I never really cared about it, until it got a little bigger as days continued to go by, and then it started to raise itself, and sting a smidge when touched. I have popped pimples before, and when i popped this one, nothing really different happened. the puss came out, and it became a red mark. just like any other pimple ive had before.

im very concerned because i still have this red mark. i cant honestly say if it looks any better than it did awhile ago, i just know that it is still extremely noticeable, its red-pink right now, and it has a pretty well-defined space. In February, it got infected again, but when I tried to pop it, nothing came out, and it just healed up. I also must admit ive picked at it, and ive most likely irritated some of the pores. im sure this is going to be a scar, but i can handle that, because so many people have scars and they are commonplace. the problem im having is with the red mark, as it is now may, and it is still red-pink. I know ive really irritated this thing, and its been infected at least twice, and im just worried that this is going to be a red mark WITH the scar. what im asking is in a general opinion, will this red mark eventually fade and just about how long might it take? also, if it doesnt fade, are there some things i can do to make sure 100% that it will? im talking surgeries or anything like that.

thank you for listening.

Do not squeeze spots, this spreads the bacteria and leads to scarring. Acne scarring is not considered permanent until it has been present for a year. To help it fade quicker use Clinique's Even Better Skin Tone Corrector. This is non-irritating and lessens the appearance of marks left by acne. Loiloi xx
