How likely

I just have a question, I'm worried about having genital warts, let me start with explaining, I had only had sex with two girl before I noticed what scared me, the last time i had sex was july of 2006, I noticed bumps around the upper part of my penis in october of 2007, they looked just like the other hair folicles on my penis, but I freaked, i picked and picked at one, which caused it to get irritated and eventually i picked enough that i caused it to open up and get soar. I left it alone and it healed, but it never toatally healed, it is a lil raised now and is red/pink,  it hasn't grown or changed at all, and all also mention that a few weeks or so after i noticed these bumps, i did starts growing hair out of them which leads me to belive they were merely hair follicles, but the one i picked at never grew hair.

My question is how likely is it for me to contract wart causing hpv from two sexual encounter where condoms were used, i know condoms dont fully protect, and how likely is it that if i did contract hpv that it took over a year to show up.

Also can me freaking out and picking at my skin cause is to turn into a bump as i mentioned?

Yes - picking at it can just make it look worse.

A hair wouldn't be coming out of the  middle of a wart.

Try soaking in the tubby or putting warm compresses periodically on the area to help increase blood flow to the area and speed healing.  You can even pluck the hair out if you want - that's up to you. If it's not looking better in a day or two - follow up with your provider to find out what is going on.
