Dear boogernose,
Open Access plans may not give you access to more Doctors, but they are more convenient in the way that they don’t require referrals from your PCP (PrimaryPrimary amyloidosis Primary biliary cirrhosis Primary hyperparathyroidism Primary insomnia Primary lymphoma of the brain care Physician) to see a specialist.
It sounds like you are having issues with your (specialist) Doctor! I would try to find a good cardiologist within your network (there are many in the L.A. area) & switch you’re your cardiologist.
