The spot is bluish/brownish in color (except when I blink when it seems bright) and I see it in darkness as well with eyes open and closed. In darkness it especially steals my attention since it is a different color than the black around me and because it flickers. I'm not sure but I think it has started to flicker more lately, since I notice it more.
Similarly to some posters in the thread I mention above I find myself blinking against the sky to check if the spot is still there.
In the mornings the spot seems to have more of a well defined outline, but as soon as I get out of bed and start moving around it gets less well defined and more fuzzy.
Any ideas of how to proceed or probable diagnoses would be much appreciated. I'm scaring myself with thoughts like micro attacks of MS etc.
