I know that I don't post as much as I used to, but I have been checking this forum at least a couple of times a week lately. I hate to hear when someone has some not-so-good news to share, and I pray for many of you daily. I know that I haven't had to deal with as much as many have in this group, but dealing with OVCA has still been a difficult for me, and I have really appreciated the support from this forum. With that being said, I wanted to share some good news that I received. I went to the dr.'s last week, and was told that my scans revealed no trace of OVCA. I am sure that I had a cyst at one point, but it must have totally dissolved. I still have some fibrous tissue in my breast that bothers me, but according to the dr.s, it is nothing to worry about. As long as the pap test that they did comes back okay (I've had problems with pre-cancerous cervical lesions, too), I don't have to go back for a year! This is something I am very excited about, and just wanted to share. I hope that it encourages somebody in some way. It is my hope that something good can come out of my experience, even if the only good thing coming from my experience is helping someone else. :)
