UPDATE LADIES!!!!

Well I went to the doctor last Wed. and everything looks good. The doc said there was one minor thing my uterus is tilted towards my back. He said it was nothing to worry about because soon it will fix itself but in the mean time it might cause me a little discomfort and pain. I also found out that I'm for sure going to have to have another c-section. I'm terrified!!! When I had my son 3 yrs ago I had emergency c/s and it took me a long time to heal from it and I didn't respond very good to surgery. Does anyone have any stories to share on second time c/s?

Hi, glad to hear all is ok.
The only women I know personally who had C/S didn't have a good time - so you probably don't want my stories. What are you terrified of?

Honestly having to go through it all over again terrifies me. It was so painful the first time and I'm sure I'll be okay just a little scared that's all. My situation is different this time around. With my son i didn't have another child at home to take care of and now I do. My son is a big time momma's boy and gets real jealous. I don't want to leave him out because I can't get up and move around to help him. After I had my first c/s I was in the bed for about a week and half. I was real sick!!! hopefully my son and new baby will give me the drive to get up and feel better. Thanks for your reply.

Hey, no probs.
It sounds like you did have a rough time. Just curious...what's stopping you trying for a vaginal birth? It's not so bad, nowhere near what it sounds like you go through with your c/s.

My doctor said that he doesn't recommend for me to have a vaginal birth. I guess do to my cervix being a little thin, not really sure. I've heard so many women say that they would rather have c/s then v/b. I lost a baby girl in Dec. "06" and I had her naturally and that hurts but I was up moving good in about 2-3 days. With a c/s you hurt for much longer. I guess I'll just have to look at the way my friend said at least my vaginal area won't be changed for life. Do you have any pointers as to how I manage my time between the new baby and my son? I still feel new to this for some reason.

My SIL actually had her 2nd C-Section yesterday (a little girl!  SOOO cute)....The 1st was emergency as well...She was terrified this time around b/c she knew that it was a C-section, whereas the last time she didn't have time to think about it.....Anyway, she did fine.....When they did the section they actaully found that her old uterine incision site was weak and starting to tear, so it was good that she didn't try a vaginal delivery......

carpediemforlife- Thank you and I'm due the 9th but I don't think I'll have the baby on that day. I had my son 2 1/2 weeks early. Hopefully this baby comes early like that because I'm really excited to meet him or her!

KellyA74- Thanks for your post makes me feel a little better knowing that I'm not the only one that's freaking out. So, was the healing harder for her the second time for the first?
