gain back hearing

by mavis1959, May 12, 2008 12:53PM
My brother has lost his hearing gradually over the years and he uses hearing aid. In his last dr. visit the diagnoses was " major hearing loss".

A couple days ago he has walk up  and he was hearing with out using his hearing aids.  He also had very high blood pressure. He took medicine for his blood pressure. but his hearing has improved.

What might be the reason of his hearing loss?
Is it possible to gain hearing  back?
