Unusual Back Hair Growth

Hi, I am a 22 year old male and have this strange hair growth on my back. At first i thought it was normal as I thought it was just back hair, but I havent really grown any back hair at all except this patch on my right upper side. It started about 4-5 years ago and Ive made the mistake of shaving it off, which has made it thicker.
Is it just unusual hair growth or something more serious?

Well, due to the limitations of this mode of medical help or advise i would have to ask you to consult a surgeon or skin specialist for a clinical examination.
Nothing can be said with surety without having a look at the lesions.
